Annual Report of the Business Intelligence Department
Academic Year 2025/2026
Follow-up on the Strategic Plan and Executive Plan
Head of Department: Dr. Alaa Al-Junaidi
Annual report of the Business Intelligence Department
Academic Year 2025/2026
Methodological Note
This report was prepared based on the updated strategic plan of the Business Intelligence Department for the period 2024–2028, and the executive plan for the academic year 2025/2026. Because the available documents do not include digital achievement records or the final institutional evidence, the report has been drafted as an institutional follow-up report capable of being validated after the actual achievement fields are completed and evidence is attached. The report does not include any assumed figures.
Executive Summary
The Department's performance during the academic year 2025/2026 focuses on eight interrelated pillars: governance and strategic planning, learning and teaching, scientific research, student services, partnerships and community engagement, material, financial, and human resources, infrastructure and the university environment, and quality assurance management. The report measures the level of implementation through the percentage of completion, achieved outputs, evidence, and the performance indicators specified in the executive plan.
The executive plan reflects the existence of a clear framework for planning and follow-up; however, a final assessment of the Department's level requires populating the actual data — for example, the number of meetings, the percentage implementation of decisions, the number of developed course files, satisfaction rates, the number of research outputs, agreements, the degree of automation, and the level of readiness for accreditation.

Fourth: Institutional Strengths
The strengths lie in the clarity of the organizational chart, the identification of eight integrated axes, linking objectives to activities, outputs, and performance indicators, the establishment of a committee for the strategic plan and executive plan, and the appointment of specialized committees for governance, quality assurance, curricular plans, scientific research, academic advising, and community service. The presence of an advisory council for the department also enables enhanced alignment of the program with the needs of the business sector.
Fifth: Priority Gaps
The primary gap is the need to transform the plan from a planning document into a documented achievement file containing actual values, targets, and evidence. Priorities include completing course files, analyzing student results, documenting scientific research, partnerships, and activities, measuring student and stakeholder satisfaction, and preparing a unified register of performance indicators.
