The Media and Communication Technology Program is one of the first programs of Jadara University, as it was established in 2008, as the first Faculty of Media, and its birth came as a result of the growing requirements of the local and Arab labor market in the field of media and communication technology, and the great importance of the media in our time, and the nature of the multiple jobs and roles assigned to this field that carry all types of general and specialized human knowledge.

Due to the importance of media in our contemporary world and in order to meet the growing media needs, and the desire of our students to study specific disciplines in the field of media, the Faculty of Media at Jadara University was born during the academic year 2024-2025.

The college constantly seeks to provide an integrated package of knowledge, skills and competencies to its students at all stages and steps of the production of print, audio, visual and digital media material, through various traditional and contemporary means of communication and media, and using the latest production techniques, in line with the data of the complex and constantly changing contemporary communication environment.

The college conducts a periodic review of its study plans, benefiting from the accumulated expertise and experience, in line with the requirements of the labor market, and in a way that ensures outputs that fully comply with the specifications of the model graduate who is qualified with knowledge and skills which is able to produce, create and compete with all merit.

According to the vision of the university's governing councils and the vision of the Faculty of Media and its department councils, many academic programs have been developed that meet the needs of the labor market and are compatible with the vision of the university and all its governing councils.
