References for the Strategic Plan Preparation and Its Main Pillars
The draft strategic plan for the Technical College is currently under preparation, drawing on the data from Jadara University’s strategic plan and the approved guidelines within the higher education sector. The plan is also based on the results of internal and external environmental analysis surveys, and it takes into account the accreditation and quality assurance standards issued by the relevant authorities for higher education institutions in Jordan, as well as university ranking criteria and the increasing needs of the technical labor market.
Overall, the draft strategic plan for the Technical College includes the following main pillars:
1. Quality Management Pillar:
Strengthening quality control systems and ensuring the implementation of their standards across all educational and research processes.
2. Globalization Pillar:
Working to elevate the academic ranking and expand international relations and strategic partnerships with global universities and technical institutions.
3. Scientific Research and Technical Application Pillar:
Supporting applied scientific research and linking it with the challenges and issues of the technical labor market.
4. University and Technical Environment Pillar:
Creating an engaging educational environment that combines academic and technical development while fostering innovation and creativity.
5. Administrative Development and Governance Pillar:
Enhancing administrative efficiency, transparency, and effective governance in managing the college.
6. Community Responsibility Pillar:
Raising the level of community engagement and activating the college’s role in serving the community through educational and applied initiatives.
7. Infrastructure and Technical Facilities Pillar:
Updating and maintaining the college's facilities and technical equipment in accordance with the latest engineering and technical standards.
8. Students and Capacity Building Pillar:
Establishing an educational environment that develops individual students’ skills and abilities and strengthens their sense of national belonging.
9. Finance and Resources Pillar:
Enhancing financial sustainability and developing funding sources to enable the college to effectively fulfill its functions and roles.
These pillars will form the foundation for the draft strategic plan of the Technical College, aiming to achieve the university’s vision of providing technical and applied education that meets the highest standards of quality and excellence locally, regionally, and globally.

Promoting technical programs that support climate resilience and align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, such as Renewable Energy and Electric & Hybrid Car Services diplomas.
