Terms and Procedures for Admitting Non-Jordanian Students (Bachelor's Degree)
Non-Jordanian students may be admitted according to the following criteria: Non-Jordanian students are accepted to the university with secondary school grades that are no more than (15) points lower than the minimum grade point average set by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education. The student's secondary school specialization must be relevant to their chosen field of study. Exemptions from the minimum grade point average requirement are based on the student's non-Jordanian nationality, not the country where they obtained their secondary school certificate. Arab secondary school certificates must be authenticated by the following entities for university admission: The Ministry of Education in the country where the secondary school certificate was issued. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country where the secondary school certificate was issued. The Jordanian Embassy in the country where the certificate was issued or the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (Address: Amman, Al-Abdali, near the Parliament and King Abdullah I Mosque) Students holding a non-Arabic high school diploma or a high school certificate not subject to ministerial examinations (such as those issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) must have their diplomas validated by the Jordanian Ministry of Education (Address: Amman, Al-Abdali, near the Parliament and King Abdullah I Mosque) before applying to the university.
Admission of Non-Jordanian Students (Bachelor's Degree): Non-Jordanian students may be admitted according to the aforementioned criteria and standards. Non-Jordanian students may be exempted from the minimum GPA requirements for Law and Engineering programs as follows: - The minimum required high school GPA for Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing is 65%. - For Allied Medical Sciences and Aircraft Maintenance, it is 55%. - For Sharia (Islamic Law), it is 60%. - For all other programs, it is 50%.
