Dear Students,

The Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) was originally established as the Faculty of Science and Information Technology at Jadara University at the start of the first semester of the 2008/2009 academic year. It was subsequently separated and renamed the FIT in the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The Faculty offers five academic programs at the bachelor's level and two programs at the master's level.

The Master's programs are as follows:

1- Software Engineering

2- Data Science in Artificial Intelligence

The Bachelor's programs are as follows:

1- Computer Science

2- Software Engineering

3- Internet of Things (IoT) Sciences

4- Robotics and Artificial Intelligence

5- Computer Networks and Cybersecurity

During the first year of dedicated work by the Faculty’s academic staff, clear study plans were developed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required for each program. These plans align with the University's vision of graduating students with outstanding academic and practical proficiency and achieving desired educational outcomes. The Faculty strives to keep pace with developments and labor market requirements, aiming to serve as a key pillar of the information technology infrastructure.

The FIT focuses on bridging theoretical concepts with practical application and developing projects that are both viable and relevant to the IT labor market. This approach prepares students to assume professional responsibilities and meet the needs of local, regional, and global labor markets.

Furthermore, the Faculty implements an academic and educational guidance plan led by a team of highly experienced and competent faculty members. It also provides advanced, networked computer laboratories that facilitate learning, practical application, and the conduct of research and studies.
